This is a collection of postings about “features” of the Force.com platform that have come as a surprise to me as I’ve worked on building an application there. The focus is on details that matter to developers; there is plenty of introductory material available so head back to Google if you are just starting out with Force.com.
My previous experience is mainly in Java (web applications, web services, Eclipse plug-ins) with sprinklings of Groovy/Grails, Play Framework, jQuery/CouchDB and Android.
